That was about 9:00. Excepting the fact that he has a huge shaved patch under his neck, and pretty huge scar with a dozen or so staples binding it shut, he looks great. Apparently he also feels pretty great, or at least tolerable, as he’s acting pretty much as he did before the ordeal. We’re concerned about him bothering the incision, but so far he’s not. That’s good.

Yesterday we took Casey to Upstate Veterinary Specialists to have his offending salivary gland removed. The surgery was performed in the morning, and we received a call from Dr. Allen around noon saying Casey is fine.

We’ll pick him up this morning :-)
